Lord has three engaged - Serious Object, a 29.89 Wentworth Park winner on May 19, the well performed Winlock On Top and Ritza Donald.
While the metrics are in the Gunning-based trainer's favour, stern opposition will come from the likes of Leanne Godden's Trunkey Rose (box five) and Ebby Infrared (eight).
Despite drawing the awkward four alley, Serious Object appears to have the best chance of success of the Lord trio. She's been racing very consistently in strong company at Wentworth Park since a slick 24.54 win from box two at Goulburn in early April but there is no room for a slip-up.
To her outside is the speedy Trunkey Rose. She accounted for a top grade line-up in 26.29 at Bulli on May 26 and was then a sound second to Midnight Flash at Wentworth Park on Jun 5 in 30.12.
Trunkey Rose's career record is impressive - 11 wins from just 21 starts and her early speed is top shelf.
Wider out, Ebby Infrared is sure to be hunting for the lead at the first turn. He last raced at Dapto in December in the Group 1 Megastar Final and now boasts 34 career wins including a solid 29.77 at the Showgrounds track.
In all, the field Silver Collar aspirants boast 114 career wins and $468,000 in stakes.
Complementing the Silver Collar is another of the GRNSW Garde Five Finals (Race Seven) which offers $5000 to-the-winner.
Fastest heat winner Smart Fernando (29.80) must contend with the awkward six alley. He has high speed stationed outside (Good Odds Tiger) while Kiwi Fantasy (box two), Collecting Model (three) and Skedaddle Crash (four) all have the pace to hold a forward position in the run to the first turn.
The first of 11 races at Dapto gets underway at 7.10pm and gate entry is free.
