Mike Nock (who famously brought jazz to the Wollongong Town Hall organ) is celebrating turning 80 by teaming up with Hamish Stuart, Julien Wilson and Jonathan Zwartz to form a supergroup and release a new album, Out of This World.
The quartet will be presented by the Kiama Jazz and Blues Society at the Pavilion on Sunday June 27 from 2pm.
Having established deep musical bonds over several decades, the shared history and personal connection between these musicians can be felt in every note.
They will also be playing at Mary's Underground in Sydney, the Canberra Street Theatre, Braidwood Uniting Church and the Jazzlab in Melbourne.
