Ricky Cochrane is wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for stealing and driving offences.
The 25-year-old is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 190 to 195 centimetres tall, with a muscular build, brown hair and hazel eyes.
He has a tattoo on his left forearm, and the fingers of his right hand have the word 'STAY' tattooed on them.
Cochrane is believed to be in the Illawarra, including Koonawarra, Balgownie and Warrawong.
Police urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact anyone who may have information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Wollongong Police District on 4226 7899.
