On Thursday Dapto will become only the third high school in Australia to officially partner with the Liverpool FC International Academy.
The Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) and Liverpool FC International Academy technical director, Chris Adams dropped by the school earlier this year to kickstart the relationship.
The English Premier League giants' International Academy operates in over 20 countries around the world, engaging with thousands of players each year.
Sydney's newly launched Liverpool FC International Academy will start its Dapto High School partnership in July this year.
Academy general manager Scott Collis told the Mercury he was looking forward to officially launching the partnership on Thursday.
"We are extremely proud to announce our partnership with Dapto High School. Our aim is to work with the school to create a football environment for young players to develop both on and off the pitch," Mr Collis said.
"We have sought to partner with a small number of schools who share our values and in this the wonderfully committed staff at Dapto High and Liverpool FC Academy are strongly aligned."
Dapto High School principal Andrew FitzSimons said the school was kicking goals with this great partnership.

The juggernaut that is Liverpool won its 19th EPL title in the 2019/20 season, adding to the Anfield club's seven FA Cups, a record eight League Cups and 15 FA Community Shields.
The Jurgen Klopp-managed outfit has also been crowned European champions six times.
Liverpool's first Sydney academy program was launched in April.
It brings together the proven football methodology and philosophy of the Liverpool Football Club with the expertise and teaching resources of Australia's leading independent higher education provider for specialist degrees in sport, education, health, sport business and dance.
Programs will commence with school sport in Term 3 with coach education, holiday and after school development programs rolling out on the pitch over the rest of this year.
Boys and girls, aged 5-17 years and of all ability levels will benefit from a highly professional program which encourages them to improve their skills, whilst also developing life skills such as communication, teamwork and leadership.
