The Stingrays have banked back-to-back wins, showing off their attacking prowess in Sunday's 5-1 thrashing of the Emerging Jets.
Bruce Tilt's side led 1-0 at half time, and despite losing key player Maruschka Waldus at the break, pushed on to record a thumping victory in Lake Macquarie. The result comes on the back of last week's 1-0 win on the road against Manly United.
Kaelah Austin scored a brace while Michelle Carney, Talitha Kramer and Sheridan Gallagher also found the back of the net for the winners. Other highlights included teen Abbey Crapp making her first grade debut.
"I think you've got to put it in proportion that Newcastle are a developing team and it was a tricky game that you had to make sure the girls were mentally tough and ready for," coach Tilt said.
"But it was the way that we emphatically went at them and gave them no possession and no territory, and did the job that was required. So you've got to be happy with that."
