Meanwhile, police have urged the community to comply with all health warnings.
On the weekend, NSW Health announced two Illawarra businesses as COVID-19 exposure sites.
This included Baby Bunting at Shellharbour, which was visited by a confirmed case on Friday, June 18 between 4.30pm and 5.15pm.
Deep cleaning of the site took place on Saturday night, and the store was shut on Sunday. The store re-opened on Monday, with an employee telling the Mercury they would be constantly cleaning the store during the day.
This follows NSW Health announcing the Broken Drum Cafe at Fairy Meadow as a COVID-19 exposure site.
The cafe was visited by a Sydney man in his 30s who is a confirmed case on Friday between 9.55am and 10.05am.
The cafe remained closed on Monday.
Co-owner Graeme McLuskey said they were "planning to possibly re-open on Wednesday".
It was also announced on Sunday that masks will be mandatory on public transport in the Wollongong and Shellharbour council areas.
On Monday, Superintendent Evan Quarmby, District Commander at the Lake Illawarra Police District said their number one message was to encourage the community to comply with all health warnings.
He said they were seeing an increased number of people wearing masks on public transport, and encouraged the community to "please keep doing the right thing".
"We just encourage people across the community, whether you'd old, young or otherwise to just get on board with these safety measures," he said.
"They are all about keeping our community safe."
Supt Quarmby's comments came as three new probationary constables had been deployed to the Lake Illawarra Police District from Monday.
