The same restrictions currently in place across both Greater Sydney including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour and regional NSW will remain in place until this time.
In the meantime, Premier Gladys Berejiklian and NSW Health have issued the following updates and reminded the public of the restrictions in place.
Schools across Greater Sydney
*Online learning from Tuesday, July 13 with face-to-face learning to resume on July 19.
*This includes students on the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour.
*Schools will be open for students who need them, including students whose parents are essential workers.
*No students will be turned away from school.
A Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong told the Mercury that they were expecting comprehensive advice for schools to be provided by NSW Health soon.
"Further information will be shared with parents and carers at Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong schools as soon as it becomes available," the spokesperson said.
In a letter to parents, Figtree Public School representatives said although schools will be open for the students and families that need it, there will only be minimal staff supervision.
"Teachers will provide one unit of work for students which will be the same for those learning from home or at school, taking into account student learning needs and stages.
"All staff have been advised that they will need to wear masks if they are on site."
The Mercury sought further comment from the The NSW Department of Education, but did not receive a response in time to meet deadline.
Restrictions across Greater Sydney
*Restrictions across Greater Sydney, including the Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour will remain in place until midnight on July 16.
*Stay at home unless absolutely necessary. No visitors in homes.
*Pubs, restaurants, entertainment venues, gyms, places of worship, beauty salons, caravan parks and camping grounds are closed.
*Stay-at-home order will remain in place until at least July 16.
Reasons to leave home:
*To get food or other goods and services.
*If you can't work or continue education at home.
*Exercising outside in groups of less than 10.
*Providing care to a relative. Attending a funeral or memorial service.
