Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a two-month-old baby at Dapto this morning.

Emergency services were called about 10.30am Tuesday to an address on Heininger Street, following reports a baby was found unresponsive.
Police say the two-month-old could not be revived and was declared dead at the scene.
A post-mortem will be carried out to determine the circumstances surrounding the baby's death, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
Police remain at the property, which has been cordoned off with police tape, Tuesday evening.
Police inquiries into the matter continue.
