A female driver accused of causing a crash on the M1 Princes Motorway that killed a beloved grandmother has fronted court for the first time.

Deanna Azabal, 30, appeared in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday to face several driving charges.
Angela Darragh, 47, was killed when her blue Holden Statesman collided with a Nissan Juke, both travelling south along the M1 Princes Motorway at Figtree about 7.15pm on March 5, this year.
At the time of the crash police said Ms Darragh's car hit a median strip then a tree near the Master Road off-ramp.
Ms Darragh tragically died at the scene while the three passengers were taken to hospital.
In documents tendered to court, police alleged Azabal was driving a silver Nissan Juke dangerously, and had "momentary inattention", causing the crash.
Azbal was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, negligent driving occasioning death and grievous bodily harm and two counts of causing bodily harm by misconduct whilst in charge of a motor vehicle. The case was adjourned to September 29.
