The side was dominant in the 7-1 victory over India, Australia showing no signs of the first-game nerves that were present in the win over Japan.
The match was the perfect tune-up for Tuesday's clash with Argentina, a game that will likely determine who finishes on top of the pool.
Illawarra pair Flynn Ogilvie and Blake Govers starred for the Kookaburras, scoring three goals between them.
After Saturday's patchy performance, Ogilvie said it was great to produce a complete showing.
"We just played a full game unlike yesterday (against Japan)," Ogilvie said.
"Yesterday we slipped up in the second quarter and Japan got back in it. Today India started off really well and had some corners against us but we withstood that and then we just piled on the pressure from there."
The second quarter was the period the Kookaburras drove home the dominance, the team scoring three goals to carry a 4-0 lead into the half-time break.
Ogilvie was among the players to find the back of the net, latching onto a deft touch from Govers before delivering a lethal strike that left the Indians stunned.
From there, it was a case of putting the game to bed for an Australian side full of running.
India fought hard in the early stages of the third quarter, earning multiple penalty corners.
Eventually they broke through, but it didn't take long for the Kookaburras to regain control.
Govers made it 5-1 when he scored on a penalty stroke before he converted a penalty corner to put Australia up five at three-quarter time.
Tim Brand put a bow on the win with a brilliant individual effort as the Kookaburras cruised past their opponents.
