The applicant says the development would not make any nuisance for neighbours as the classes would not be loud and parking is available behind the building.

"The proposed development will not cause excessive acoustic privacy noise to the adjoining properties that would be considered a nuisance, the use-operation of the gym is internal and all traffic movement would be of similar movements that have occurred over the life time of the property as carparking is existing and business type operations have been operating over the past period of the existing complex that used the carparking area," the application states.
Railway St in Corrimal is already the site of three gym within 50m.
The proposal is on exhibition via Wollongong City Council until August 4.
