And now the Stingrays of Shellharbour flier has set her sights on adding to that tally when the Dragon's 2021 campaign kicks off in October.

"Getting that game in 2020 gave me a taste of the speed and intensity needed to play at that level," Berry, who's excited to be in St George Illawarra's squad once again, said.

"I really enjoyed that experience and am looking to play in more games this season, as I definitely feel I'm better prepared this year than I was 12 months ago."

The Group Seven product's continued rise has been thanks to strong performance with the Illawarra Steelers, Helensburgh Tiger Lillies, NSW Country under 19s and NSW Blues under 19s.

"My improvement as a player comes down to learning more about the game and gaining more experience as a player," she said.

"Having different coaches and leaders around me has allowed me to take my game to the next level and be successful."

Although her Dragons squad, which also features fellow Group Seven talent Keele Browne, haven't been able to train as a group, Berry has been working hard individually.

"Despite the lockdown, we have been sent a program by the club and it's just like any other pre-season," the Oak Flats High School student said.

"It's been tough but all the girls and I have been working hard to get it done.

"We have an amazing group, who are all willing to put in that extra effort, which I have no doubts will help us once the season kicks off."

When that does, Berry has two main goals.

"First and foremost, I want to play more games than I did last year," the 18-year-old said.

"I also want to continue to keep learning as a player and be more consistent each time I step on the field."
