THE ink is barely dry on his deal but Dragons recruit George Burgess is already under investigation by the club and NRL Integrity Unit over an alleged incident involving a fellow motorist earlier this week.

Burgess has shifted to Wollongong to join the Dragons on a two-year deal and was reportedly driving on South Coast earlier this week when involved in an altercation with another driver.
The club confirmed on Wednesday that police are investigating the matter.
"St George Illawarra are aware of an alleged road incident involving 2022 recruit George Burgess," the club said in a statement.
"The NRL integrity unit have been informed. As the police are currently investigating the matter, the Dragons will be making no further comment at this stage."
The 29-year-old was due to commence preseason training with the club in October after undergoing career-saving surgery on a recurring hip problem at ended his time with UK powerhouse Wigan.
The England International is returning to Australia with unfinished business having played 149 games, and claimed the 2014 premiership, with the Rabbitohs in his previous stint in the NRL.
