Farrell, who used to play NRL with St George Illawarra, did not appear during a brief mention of his case in Nowra Local Court on Monday, August 30.
The case will return to court on October 18.

Farrell was also charged with allegedly growing an undisclosed number of cannabis plants after police raided a property at Nowra Hill in February.
After allegedly destroying a mobile phone in Nowra, the 30-year-old is also facing a charge of hindering the discovery of evidence relating to the drug charged.
Court files also show Farrell is facing two charges of driving with a suspended licence.
