It was a great result for Australia to defeat China 3-0 last week. That was set to be a home game but was played away due to COVID, so it was important for the Aussies to get the three points.
Although we will go in as favourites, Vietnam will be a tough opposition on Tuesday night. They've invested a lot of money into Vietnamese football in recent years and they've definitely improved.
I think Tom Rogic's Socceroos return has been positive. He's getting more game time at Celtic and is back to his best, so he's been a big bonus for Australia. Aaron Mooy didn't start, but he's getting back fit and into the frame, so I think Arnie has done a good job getting a good group of core players together the past year or two.
Although we've got off to a good start, it's going to be very difficult, particularly while navigating the COVID situation as well.
