The delay to the competition means many players who featured in the preliminary rounds have now moved to new clubs.
Macdonald lined up for Wollongong Olympic in their loss to Mt Druitt, the team the Wolves have been drawn to face in the round of 32.

The attacker played for the Wolves the last time they reached this stage of the competition and he's eager to relive that experience.
"Playing in the FFA Cup was a big draw in coming to the club," Macdonald said.
"The sky's the limit for this cup, I'm excited to be part of it and hopefully I'll be able to put the shirt on and play in the round of 32."
The FA remains keen to complete the FFA Cup by the end of the year, however that is dependant on coronavirus restrictions easing. The round of 32 commences in Queensland on Tuesday.
