The striker attracted a legion of supporters in the Illawarra as the Wellington Phoenix captain last summer, a troupe of Mexican fans even making the trip to WIN Stadium to back the star.
Davila has made the switch to Macarthur for the upcoming season and new captain Adam Federici expects his goal-scoring streak to continue for his new team.
"He's a very creative player and he's already making his mark in training," Federici said. "He's got a lot of respect within the team, he's trained well, so have all the lads.
"Hopefully he produces the magic we all love him for. He's definitely a smiley character, he's a joy to have around, that's a benefit to us. He brings something different to every training session.
"For me, having him here is just a huge bonus. Hopefully the fans and everyone backs him and they'll get to see something special from him this season."
