A Farmborough Heights man was flown to Sydney by the TOLL Ambulance Rescue Helicopter on Monday afternoon after getting his hand caught in a car jack.

A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said two crews responded to call from Gerard Avenue just before 4pm where it was a reported a man in his 70's had one or more fingers wedged in the car jack and suffered a serious hand injury.
"Two crews and a specialist medical team were dispatched," the spokesperson said.
"There was a critical care doctor and a paramedic on board.
"The TOLL Ambulance Rescue Helicopter landed at Primrose Park.
"The man was transported to the chopper and taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition."
