Steelers general manager Sharon Arrow said with many doing it tough in lockdown IHMRI Professor Lorna Moxham, Mental Health Movement's Dan Hunt and Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District clinical psychologist Billy Fogden will help answer questions.
Ms Arrow said the webinar was targeted to all demographics because the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on many people's health, social connectedness, economic and employment situations and the challenges of working from home combined with home schooling.
It has also been detrimental to the mental health of young people.
Ms Arrow said those logged into the webinar will hear more about how the impacts of COVID-19 are challenging everyone's mental health and learn about interventions available to improve mental health outcomes across all demographics.
The webinar will uncover what mental health means, what causes mental illness and what can be done do to support young people in the community.
Ms Arrow said the Steelers club was committed to supporting the mental health in the community.
