Gloria Ruvinov is selling Zander's Dessert Bar so she can focus solely on her bakehouse next door.
With NSW set to reopen, Ms Ruvinov reluctantly decided it was the best time to part with the business.
"I shut it down because we couldn't have more than one person inside the shop," she said.
"I didn't think that was viable, so I moved everything into the cafe.
"Now I'm just satisfied with running that part of the business."
She said the dessert bar had a very loyal following, which would benefit the next owner, as would the warmer summer months and increased freedoms ahead.
Ms Ruvinov, who has owned Zanders for 13 years, said she was grateful to still be in business after a tough year of operating.
"I'm just so thankful and appreciate every single person who has walked through the door and supported me during the past 18 months," she said.
"Because without them there would be no business, no staff, no money and no wages. I am thankful every single day."
