Paramedics were called to tend to two of their own about 3.10pm Monday, after the ambulance collided side-on with a ute on Worrigee Street.
A spokesman for NSW Ambulance said one of the ute's occupants was transported to Shoalhaven Hospital.
Two paramedics from the impacted ambulance were also taken to hospital. ACM understands this was as a precaution and the pair were not injured.
A large number of police attended the crash site and surrounding roads were closed before both vehicles were towed.
