Hoyts Warrawong and Event Cinemas Shellharbour will both throw open their doors on Monday October 11.
Event Wollongong will open "shortly after" as the company wants to take a "staggered approach to reopening their sites" - all stating health and safety were top priorities.
Warrawong's independent cinema The Gala is expected to open on Thursday October 14.
A spokesperson for Hoyts said there have been advanced in preparations to ensure patrons and staff were in a safe environment.
"These measures include staff training, continued focus on cleaning protocols, density limitations in auditoriums and public spaces, and encouragement for online bookings," they said.
"Guests and crew will also be required to wear face masks, except when consuming food and drinks."
Free Guy starring Ryan Reynolds, The Suicide Squad with Margot Robbie and Scarlett Johansson's final film for Marvel Black Widow will all be showing at the two major cinema chains on Monday.
Other films on show will be welcomed by youngsters including Space Jam: A New Legacy, Disney's Jungle Cruise, Paw Patrol: The Movie and Ainbo: Amazon Princess.
Event spokesman Michael Morcos said he was excited for more great content in weeks to come with Respect, Fast 9, Candyman and Halloween Kills, among many others.
Daniel Craig's fifth and final role as Jame Bond in the long awaited No Time To Die will also be hitting cinemas soon, following the world premiere in London last week.
Under the Public Health Order, fully vaccinated people over the age of 16 (or minors who are accompanied by a fully vaccinated member of their household) will be able to attend a cinema.
Meanwhile, the NSW Dine and Discover vouchers have been extended until June next year, which can be used for entertainment such as going to the movies.
