This includes the property at 74/62 Harbour Street, Wollongong, which sold prior to auction for $3,561,069 after 11 days on the market.
This north-east facing penthouse apartment offers top floor ocean views taking in the Five Islands, the beachfront and lighthouse.
CoreLogic records show the seller was developer Charlie Daoud, the son of developer Nicolas Daoud. The buyer was from Sydney.
Other features include a vast, house-like floor plan complete with a lounge and dining zone, walk-up bar with Vintec wine fridges, a private children's wing with its own bathroom and balcony, and a wraparound sundeck.
Selling agent, Darren Kay from Belle Property Illawarra said the property had strong levels of inquiry, both from local and Sydney-based parties.
"It's arguably Wollongong's best penthouse purely because of its aspect," he said.
"It's very hard to find something north-east facing. It's in a tranquil location, amazing views, and close proximity to the beach, harbour and infrastructure.
"It was hotly contested prior to auction, and ultimately came down to a Sydney and local-based buyer, with the Sydney buyer coming out on top."
Meanwhile, further south, the home at 148 Headland Drive, Gerroa sold for $4,545,000 after 49 days on the market.
The two-bedroom, one-bathroom original mid-century cottage sits on 556 square metres.
It offers ocean and headland views, and is one of just a handful of properties on Headland Drive's waterfront reserve.
It had a price guide of $4.75 million to $5 million.
Selling agent, Ryan Stalgis of First National Coast & Country said it had been sold to a Sydney buyer, after they had more than 1300 inquiries on the property.
"Most of the buyers were looking at it as a knockdown," he said. "It's an original '50s home... I'm sure the buyers will be looking to knockdown and rebuild at some point."
