South Coast Police are investigating the death of 14 kangaroos believed to have been deliberately killed near Bateman's Bay on Friday night.

Just after 7am on Saturday officers were called to the Long Beach area. Accompanied by volunteers from WIRES they located five adult kangaroos and one joey dead on Blairs Road and Sandy Place.
They were later notified that a further seven kangaroos and one joey were found dead in the Maloneys Beach area.
Police have already spoken to multiple witnesses and are examining CCTV from the area.
And part of inquiries, investigators are seeking to identify the drivers of two white 4WD utilities seen in the areas of Blairs Road and Sandy Place, Long Beach and Maloneys Drive and Hibiscus Close, Maloneys Beach, between 10pm Friday and 12:30am Saturday.
