Mount Terry Public School in Albion Park has closed for cleaning and contact tracing on Thursday after a member of the school community tested positive to the virus.

The school requested that parents and carers collect their children immediately, with all staff and students told to self-isolate until receiving further advice.

Anyone who has been well or has developed symptoms should get tested.

The school closure comes after Unanderra Public School was shut down on Wednesday for cleaning.
