
Twenty residents and three staff members at IRT Tarrawanna Aged Care Centre have now tested positive to COVID-19, a spokesperson said on Friday.
"The three employees are fully vaccinated and 17 of the 20 residents are also fully vaccinated; two residents have had one dose of the vaccine, and one resident is not vaccinated," they said.

By Friday morning 10 residents had been transferred to hospital, six to Wollongong Hospital and four to Lawrence Hargrave Hospital.
"All residents diagnosed with COVID-19 are stable as are the three employees who are recovering at home," the spokesperson said.
"All residents and staff will be tested again tomorrow and on Sunday.
"We continue to manage the centre in accordance with strict infection control protocols and in consultation with Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District and other health authorities."
