A Wollongong woman is one of five people who died in NSW overnight as new COVID cases across the state fell to 266.

The woman was aged in her 80s and died in Wollongong Hospital, the lllawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District confirmed.
She had received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and had "underlying health conditions".
The death is the third COVID-related fatality recorded in the region in the space of a week, after a male resident of IRT Tarrawanna aged care centre died at the weekend and an elderly Wollongong woman died last Wednesday.
Across the region, 16 residents tested positive to COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm Sunday night.
Of these, 10 cases were from Wollongong (two linked to known cases), with three each in the postcodes of 2502 and 2530, two in 2518 and one each in 2505 and 2516.
Shellharbour recorded two new cases in the 2527 postcode, neither of which were linked to known cases, while a new case was uncovered in Kiama for the first time since October 3. The Shoalhaven recorded three new cases.
There were 30 COVID-19 patients being treated in the region's hospital as of 8pm on Sunday night.
Meantime, more than 92 per cent of adults in NSW have received a first dose of COVID-19, NSW Health confirmed on Monday.
There were 266 fresh infections detected in the 24 hours to 8pm on Sunday, including one overseas arrival.
That's down from 301 COVID cases the day before, and as the state begins to enjoy new freedoms.
Hospital numbers have passed 600, with 606 patients requiring treatment within the system.
Of those, 132 are in intensive care across NSW.
80.3 per cent of the population aged 16 or older has received two doses of a vaccine.
