Members of the Kiama Australian Religious Response to Climate Change (ARRCC) have staged a protest outside Gilmore MP Fiona Phillips' office to call for more action over climate change.

The protest on Monday morning was part of a global multi-faith movement, involving more than 500 actions across the world.
Kiama ARRCC members gathered outside Mrs Phillips' office protesting the the lack of action on climate change.
The protest and #Faiths4Climate Global Day of Action undertaken by Berry and Kiama Uniting Churches and St Peter and Paul Catholic Church on Sunday were timed to occur two weeks before COP26, the crucial climate conference to be held in Glasgow.
Kiama ARRCC said while the Federal Government was still struggling to accept the target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050, the Federal Labor opposition recently have in Anthony Albanese's words 'embraced' this 'modest target'.
Kiama ARRCC members urged both the Liberal/National coalition and the ALP to take note of the report released by IPCC in August which makes it clear that Australia must be at net zero by 2040.
To do that the group says it is essential Australia says "no to the opening of new coal mines" and "no to a gas led recovery".
