The event promoters of the same name released a brief statement on Tuesday announcing the next instalment of the two-day affair would return to a pre-COVID standing setup at Stuart Park, across April 2 and 3 in 2022.
A spokeswoman said the lineup of Australian and New Zealand artists was locked in, and would be announced in coming weeks.
It follows a tumultuous two years for the Yours and Owls group, who just managed to "break even" the spokeswoman said, after the most recent festival was plagued with multiple postponements, lineup changes, added infrastructure costs and other hurdles to ensure it was COVID-safe.
In early September the Yours and Owls Festival was handed $700,000 as one of the recipients from the fifth round of Federal Government's RISE (Restart to Sustain and Expand) fund.
The grant was among 63 events, artists or organisations to receive financial assistance - a list which included Bondi's Sculpture By The Sea, musician Holy Holy, The Big Country Festival and the adaptation of the '90s cult film Cruel Intentions into a musical.
