The two residents are located in the 2540 postcode, confirmed the ISLHD. Of these, only one is linked to a known case in the community.
In the 24 hours to 8pm last night, Wollongong recorded four new cases and Shellharbour recorded one.
NSW Health reported the death of a man in his 80s at Wollongong Hospital and confirm he was unvaccinated.

NSW Health has not listed any new Shoalhaven venues as COVID exposure sites overnight.
There have now been 2,376 local cases of COVID-19 in the ISLHD since the start of the current outbreak in June.
For the third day in a row, NSW has recorded under 300 cases of COVID-19, however, there are more than 100 people in intensive care.
The state added 284 fresh cases to the tally and one death.
