Gold Logie winner Georgie Parker will be among a raft of legends from the Australian screen to share some tricks of the trade and how the industry has fared during COVID through a series of Screen Illawarra webinars in November.
Other notables to appear in the four-week series include Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, Jai Laga'aia, Peter Andrikidis, Anousha Zarkesh plus local directors Jasmin Tarasin, Victoria Wharfe McIntyre and Rhiannon Bannenberg.
Beginning on November 4, the panels will discuss what it's been like working under restrictions, what the future of screen arts practice may look like, undertaking production and managing mental health.
Screen Illawarra is an incorporated association that aims to be an inclusive hub and advocacy body for screen content creators in the Illawarra and the adjacent regions.
"We are about creating networking, partnerships, mentoring, training and professional development opportunities and promoting the region's locations and skills, acting as a local contact point to attract Australian and international screen content production," said association president, Sandra Pires.
