There was a national tour on the cards, culminating with a support slot on the KISS show at Townsville, as well as a string of releases old and new.
However, COVID and lockdowns pretty much put paid to all that.

But with those lockdowns now lifting, the band has a chance to do a little celebrating for their 30th before the year runs out.
Later this month they're releasing a limited edition box-set of 12 vinyl singles (releases from Return to Earth and Mumbo Jumbo aren't included).
Pre-orders for the box set started last week and most of the 500 available have already been sold.
As well as that, there's a five-night residency at La La La's in December.
The box set spun out of the band's love of the seven-inch vinyl format, which has largely disappeared by the time Tumbleweed emerged.
"When we first became a band with the Proton Energy Pills, we recorded Survival and Less than I Spend as seven-inch singles," said singer Richie Lewis, "and when we started with Tumbleweed we had Captain's Log and Stoned before we did any CDs.
"But everything else came out as a CD, like Theatre of Gnomes, or a CD single. Right through the '90s we were swallowed up by CD technology. So you missed out on that wonderful thing of having that seven-inch vinyl single. Now it's good to get them on vinyl now being a fan of the format."
The band is also excited for the December residency, which will be Tumbleweed's first live shows since March.
"It's exciting to look forward to especially somewhere like La La La's, which I'm a big fan of," Lewis said.
"We're doing it in the local place where we feel comfortable and which feels like home. We've got all our best friends and favourite bands in Wollongong to play a night each.
"The idea with the five shows in succession is we're going to make each night a little bit different. So we'll play a different deep cut each night - something we wouldn't ordinarily play - and we'll get the singer for each support band to sing one of our songs with us."
