Alexander Veljanoski, 35, was originally sentenced to a total of five years and eight months behind bars over the 2019 incidents, however appealed the penalty to the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal, claiming the presiding judge had made mistakes in calculating the appropriate sentence.
In a decision handed down in court on Monday, justices Ian Harrison, David Davies and Hament Dhanji agreed that Veljanoski had been dealt with too harshly, not given the appropriate discount for his early guilty pleas and his poor mental health had not been adequately taken into account.
Veljanoski was re-sentenced to two years and eight months jail, with a non-parole period of one year and eight months.
He will now be released from custody later this month, two years ahead of his original release date of November 2023.
The court heard Veljanoski exposed himself to a 51-year-old woman as she walked along Mulda Street in Brownsville, pulling his car up next to her and saying "hey baby, would you like to ride this?"
The woman replied "you've gotta be joking" and Veljanoski drove away. The woman recorded the car's number plate and reported the matter to Dapto Police Station.
Less than half an hour later, Veljanoski approached a 15-year-old school girl on Fowlers Road at Koonawarra and sexually propositioned her while masturbating.
He then approached an 11-year-old girl and said "hi how are you? Will you jump in the car with me.?"
The girl ran to a nearby house and sought help.
Veljanoski then accosted a 21-year-old woman at Dapto, becoming aggressive towards her when she declined his offer of a lift.
Veljanoski's last sexual offence occurred a few weeks later on August 15 when he approached a 66-year-old woman and asked her for directions to Thirroul while attempting to undo his zipper and remove his penis.
The victim saw what Veljanoski was doing and said "I'm not having any of that carry on, piss off".
Veljanoski was arrested later that day and charged.
He subsequently pleaded guilty to two counts each of carrying out a sexual act with another and intimidation and one count of attempting to carry out a sexual act.
Veljanoski told a psychologist ahead of his sentencing that he'd taken $100 worth of ice and smoked a joint of cannabis before becoming "aroused".
He said he couldn't afford the services of a brothel so went for a drive to try to "pick up females".
Psychologists found Veljanoski had a mild intellectual disability and impulse control issues which had affected his behaviour.
