They came in from near Batemans Bay down to Bermagui and Eden and were roughly in the 30-kilo range with a few smaller ones mixed in with albacore.
Locally, the snapper were a bit tougher last week with a lot of anglers putting the weather down as the problem.
The rain and wind kept a lot of people off the water as it will again this weekend with the forecast for more of the same.
Plenty of good sized kings were about the islands and Bellambi bommie and a few were nailed by the land-based boys.
Beach fishing has been hitting its straps with good salmon and tailor hooked. The odd big bream has been about also.
Both bream and whiting will dine on beach worms all day long but watch the size of the whiting.
