Former Brisbane Bullets big man Harry Froling signed with Illawarra in July, joining younger brother Sam on the club's roster for the 2021/22 NBL season.
While many fans were happy to see the siblings reunite, Hawks coach Brian Goorjian looks forward to seeing Harry's impact on the court.
"Harry is a nice piece for us because he stretches the floor, can shoot the ball and is a nice passer. We were not a good passing team last year and didn't move the ball really well, and we were a poor shooting team. And Harry helps with that," he said.
"The first step for him to have a good year was getting him in good shape. From where he was last year to now, it's noticeable that he's put a lot of work in to get his body right leading into this season. He's going to be really important to us."
