Sarah Witt, 36, was working for Parsons Funerals at the beginning of the year when she allegedly pocketed cash and cheques belonging to the company worth a combined $1600.
Charge sheets presented to Wollongong Local Court said the alleged theft took place sometime between February 8 and March 3.
The matter was subsequently reported to police and Witt was charged in May.
She did not enter a plea when the matter first came before court on September 7 and the case was adjourned for her lawyer to enter into negotiations with police.
Witt chose not to appear in court on Tuesday during a mention of her matter, however lawyer Jordan Mechan confirmed the negotiations had been successful.
He sought a one week adjournment, telling the court the matter would be "very short" on the next occasion.
The registrar granted the adjournment.
