The school says it is working closely with NSW Health to identify close contacts of the infected person, and ensure they get tested and isolate.
A dozen new cases emerged in the Illawarra on Wednesday, and health authorities are continuing to urge the public to come forward for testing.
It comes as a public health alert was issued Tuesday after COVID-19 cases attended several local venues.
Anyone who visited Pepe's on the Beach; The Illawarra Hotel and The Prince in Wollongong, or Towradgi Beach Hotel, at specified times listed here should be tested immediately.
