Of the new infections, five are from the Wollongong local government area and all are linked to known cases. There are two confirmed case in postcode 2500 and three in 2530.
Two are from Kiama local government area in postcodes 2533 and 2534 and one is linked to a known case.
Following the issue of public health alerts this week, the community is being reminded that anyone who attended the venues at the times listed should come forward for testing immediately.
Health authorities are urging the community to maintain vigilance and to continue to come forward for testing and vaccination.

As at 8pm last night, there were four people being treated in hospital as a result of COVID-19.

A man in his 60s from south eastern Sydney died at St George Hospital. He had received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and had underlying health conditions.
There are currently 148 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital with 26 people in intensive care, five of whom require ventilation. There were 66,671 tests recorded.
