From 10am to 2pm anyone looking for a career in the hospitality sector can come along and speak to prospective employers.
RDA Illawarra chief executive Debra Murphy said employers in the hospitality sector have pledged more than 140 jobs in the last week.
"We are now looking for keen job-seekers to either attend the face-to-face event at Osborne Park or go online and apply for the jobs available now.," Ms Murphy said.
"Jobs in hospitality are a great way to learn skills, meet people and can be fun places to work. There are plenty of jobs, all we need is to match the jobs on offer with both entry level people, such as those leaving school, as well as skilled professionals.
"Those looking for work are encouraged to attend the Jobs Drive to learn more about the support services and training on offer. What a career in hospitality can offer. And hear directly from potential employers on the roles available."
The jobs drive was a recommendation from a series of Illawarra Skill Shortages Roundtable forum conducted online during lockdown.
The roundtable was convened by RDA Illawarra and supported by Stephen Jones, Member for Cunningham Sharon Bird and the Federal Government's Local Jobs Program.
