Franchisee James Dwarte said the restaurant will be ready for everyone to come and see on Saturday and take advantage of $1 cheeseburgers for opening day.
"We are still actively looking for more staff for the Warrawong site," he said.
"The remodel gives us at least another 30 positions to fill. There is a variety of part time, full time and casual positions."
Mr Dwarte said McDonald's Warrawong looks very similar to Warilla and features a new playland and additional seating.
"We have upgraded the dining room so the whole inside of the store looks very different. You can barely tell it is the same Warrawong restaurant," he said.
"There is new decor and new seating, a new front counter, new McCafe and we have created what is called a beverage cell which will create more efficiencies for our staff by making it easier to serve our customers.
"There is also a new delivery room for our delivery drives and we have made the drive-thru more efficient.
"And there is a brand new playland for children. There are activities in there for toddlers as well.
"The outside of the store looks very different as well."
Mr Dwarte said the restaurants is celebrating with a family fun day with face painting and many activities including Ronald McDonald doing magic shows between 11am and 2pm.
