The camp was attended by a player who later tested positive to COVID-19, with the St George Illawarra trio required to self-isolate.
It is understood up to 30 NRL players and 10 staff have been told to quarantine, with the likes of Tom Trbojevic and Nathan Cleary reportedly among the group.
The Dragons were holding a pre-season training camp in Gerringong this week, with Sloan, Amone and Sullivan returning home when informed of their status as a close contact.
Tuesday's COVID scare comes after Newcastle players and staff were forced to get tested and isolate as the city's outbreak worsens.
