
The Southern Hemisphere's biggest Buddhist temple is hosting its annual cultural festival starting on December 25 and running until January 2.
Berkeley's Nan Tien Temple is welcoming people of all cultures and denominations to experience arts and crafts, song and dance performances, wishing tree, calligraphy, multi-cultural food, stalls, book fair, art exhibitions and more.

Visitors can ring in the new year to the Toll of the New Year's Bell for Peace on December 31 - it's one of two days of the year where the public can strike the bell.
One of the most popular of Chinese festivities by children and adults is the Lion Dance which will be performed on January 1 in the courtyard.
The nine-day festival is free but an online booking confirmation is required.
