Milham, who lives in Mt Druitt, is facing a single charge of wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and three counts of damaging property following an incident at Albion Park on Sunday, which left a 19-year-old man in hospital with a cut to his head.
Milham chose not to appear in Port Kembla Local Court on Wednesday during a brief mention of his matter, instead phoning into the proceedings to hear his lawyer seek an adjournment on his behalf.
The registrar agreed to adjourn the matter to Wollongong Local Court on February 23 and continued Milham's bail, which includes conditions that he not approach the alleged victim and stay out of Albion Park.
Police were called to the victim's Roper Road home just after 6.30pm to reports of an assault. They discovered the victim with a large laceration on his head.
He was treated by paramedics and taken to Wollongong Hospital.
Police will allege the man was injured after being hit in the head with an axe during an altercation between himself, Milham and a 17-year-old boy.
It is alleged Milham and the teen attended the home and smashed a number of window on cars prior to the alleged assault.
The teen will appear at a children's court on January 11.
