Southern IML Pathology's clinics at Albion Park, Berkeley, Fairy Meadow, Shellharbour, Warilla, and at JJ Kelly Park and Denison Street in Wollongong will be closed Friday, January 7 and Saturday, January 8.
The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District has advised this is to prioritise test results and improve turnaround times.
The clinics are scheduled to reopen on Sunday.
The Albion Park clinic however will move from the showground to the Croome Sporting Complex on Croome Road, with entry via the East West Link.
While the rules around PCR tests have changed, testing clinics are still seeing high demand amid growing numbers of COVID cases.
Information on clinic opening times is available at the Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD website.
