Get organised and paddle out, particularly at Shellharbour where conditions were just ideal mid-afternoon.
Surf conditions were probably the brightest part of the day as the appalling weather that plagued summer carried over into the first day of autumn.
Surfers were back out on the water on Saturday at Shellharbour and Sandon Point as the large swell continued.
March was a record-breaking month for rain at Shellharbour where 670.6 millimetres was recorded at the airport - more than half of the rainfall it saw in the entirety of its wettest ever year.
But be warned, the hazardous surf warning remains in place.
