Disney's The Little Mermaid JR will open next Friday at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre brought to you by The Performing Arts Collective.
The 60-minute musical is based on the 2008 Broadway production and the 1989 animated feature film, and will feature all the famous songs you know and love from the famous story.
The play will feature a cast of 37 local Shoalhaven children, all of whom are ecstatic to get back on the stage after not being able to perform live since before the Omicron driven COVID-19 lockdown in 2021.
The Junior Program run by the Performing Arts Collective (PAC) allows each child to experience and learn all aspects of musical theatre.
More than just a weekly rehearsal, the PAC look to guide and mentor their students through their experienced and passionate team to help them to be the best performer they can possibly be.
The PAC Jr program has been developed specifically for participants aged 8 to 18.
The program was founded during the COVID pandemic, with the aim to get performers back on stage.
The group is leading the way in delivering innovative and modern theatrical experiences within the Shoalhaven region.
The Little Mermaid will run for an hour and 15 minutes and the first show will be at 7pm on Friday, April 22 at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre.
A meet and greet with Ariel and Friends is available immediately after the 11am (April 23) and 2:30pm (April 23) performances for ticket holders, RSVP is a must.
