The Gerringong Music Club is lucky enough to be hosting the group at Gerringong Town Hall on May 15 at 2pm.
The Alma Moodie Quartet features four of Australia's finest string players in an exciting new collaboration.
The quartet is made up of violinists Kristian Winther and Anna da Silva Chen, violist Alexina Hawkins and cellist Thomas Marlin, with the group bringing a fresh and fearless approach to the string quartet repertoire.
The group is named after an internationally significant Australian violinist of the 1930's and 40's.
The Alma Moodie Quartet is committed to invigorating the classics and exploring new works with their combined virtuous talents.
This concert features Haydn's Divertimento in F minor opus 20 no.5, Bartok's String Quartet no.4 and the String Quartet no.14 in D minor 'Death and the Maiden' by Schubert.
This will be a delightful concert and one the public should get around to seeing with the talent on display.
Doors open at Gerringong Town Hall at 1.30pm. Tickets will be $25 for visitors. Students and children are free.
