The Big Wave Project 2 continues to document the waves dreams are made of like Nazaré, the home of the biggest ridable wave, The Right at Shipsterns, Cloudbreak in Fiji, Teahupo'o in Tahiti, plus Mavericks and Jaws in the US.

It will be touring the state in May, with one night at the Gala Cinemas in Warrawong on May 20.

The production has taken Bonython around the planet to interview the world's most renowned big wave surfers and to record the biggest and most death-defying waves. It's narrative may scare viewers as much as it will exhilarate.

It featured legendary Hawaiian surfers Kai Lenny, Ian Walsh, Kohl Christensen. Aussies Jamie Mitchell, Kipp Caddy and Brad Norris. In Europe Nic Von Rupp, Conor Maguire and Tom Lowe. In Tahiti, Kauli Vaast, Matahi Drollet and Arrihoe Tefaafana.

This sequel documentary looks at how big wave surfing has changed at Mavericks with Jeff Clarke, and covers a unique moment of bravery with the story of Ramon Navarro's greatest moment at Fiji's Cloudbreak.

Bonython was out filming right up until February 2022 which saw epic swells the world over.

It is a documentary narrated by Australian big wave legend and world champion Tom Carroll.
