Wollongong Art Gallery has teamed with Yours and Owls for two concerts performed amongst exhibitions and art installations.
The Harmony project will feature original members of The Dirty Three Mick Turner and Mess Esque on May 14, plus Jim White and Xylouris White performing on June 11.
May will see new art installations from Xanthe Barker, with Reassess Progress: Here + Now III, and Friederike Krishnabhakdi-Vasilakis and Leon Vasilakis, with Deep Sounding (both showing May 7 - August 14). June will welcome a new collection selected by Carrie Lumby, There's A Crack In Everything (showing June 4 - August 28).
Organisers said the project was a coveted opportunity to experience a synthesis of music and art, bringing together premier performance talent and evocative artistic works is a cultural intersection.

This multi-arts exhibition combines moving visuals of coastal ocean-scapes overlaid with a soundscape of modulated sound of underwater animals and their environment. Textual meanderings into tales and history allude to greater ecological narratives and contemplations of what oceans mean to the world, and what the world means to oceans.
