Aeryn Brown has been living in a Housing NSW unit, in Berkeley, for more than a decade but says it's not insulated and she is freezing.

"I wear socks and have to wrap myself up in a blanket to stay warm," Ms Brown said.
"I sleep in a hoodie, under a quilt, with three extra blankets."
Ms Brown, 38, has health conditions which prevent her from getting a job.
"I get the jobseeker payment after not qualifying for a disability pension on the grounds of mental illness.
"I'm registered with a disability service and have to apply for four casual or part time jobs a month," she added.
"My stove is also busted but Housing NSW don't want to know about it.
Ms Brown says she lives minimally after receiving her fortnightly Jobseeker payment.
Aeryn's fortnightly budget can be broken down like this:
- Rent and utilities $234.60
- Groceries $250.00
- Medication $6.80
- Insurance $41.93
- Internet $25.50
"Four nights in a row this week I ate what I call shit spag bol.
"It's tinned spaghetti bolognese, mixed with a tin of diced tomatoes and a tin of cherry tomatoes with pasta," Ms Brown said.
Member for Wollongong, Paul Scully, said Ms Brown had reached out to him on social media as part of an affordable housing campaign #howdoyousleepatnight.
In an email to the Mercury, Mr Scully said he has been in touch with Ms Brown.
"We are working with Housing to resolve the matters related to the stove and have also directed Ms Brown to a number of energy rebates that she may be eligible for but may not have claimed.
"With millions of dollars of unclaimed energy rebates we are finding many people are unaware of rebates that they might be eligible for," Mr Scully added.
The body in charge of maintenance for Housing NSW, the Land and Housing Corporation, says it's also looking into Ms Brown's matter.
